This part is generated from a hand-written, print-tested OpenSCAD module — the same numbers always produce the same geometry. It is not an AI guess, and it does not cost a credit. Before a load-bearing or fit-critical print, check it against our design guide for wall thickness, overhangs and orientation.

Print notes for this part

  • This is one disc of a cycloidal reducer, not a complete gearbox — a real drive needs an eccentric input bearing and a ring of output pins engaging pin_holes, neither of which is included.
  • Lobe count sets the reduction ratio (lobes:1 against a lobes+1-pin ring) — more lobes means a higher ratio but also shallower, more delicate lobe tips at a given outer_d.
  • Print flat, face down, no supports needed — the lobed profile and pin holes are both cut straight through the flat disc.
