This part is generated from a hand-written, print-tested OpenSCAD module — the same numbers always produce the same geometry. It is not an AI guess, and it does not cost a credit. Before a load-bearing or fit-critical print, check it against our design guide for wall thickness, overhangs and orientation.
Print notes for this part
- Solid all the way through — there is no shaft bore. Either drill one after printing to match your D-shaft, or size the diameter for a friction press-fit and skip drilling entirely.
- Print with the axis vertical, same as it renders. The knurl ridges then run parallel to the layer lines, which is what keeps them sharp instead of stair-stepped.
- Knurl depth much past 1 mm starts to look and feel like teeth rather than grip texture — 0.4-0.8 mm is the useful range for an actual finger grip.
