This part is generated from a hand-written, print-tested OpenSCAD module — the same numbers always produce the same geometry. It is not an AI guess, and it does not cost a credit. Print notes for this part
- This is the outer ring of a planetary set, teeth pointing inward — it needs a sun gear and planet gears at the same module printed separately; there is no matching gear template bundled with it automatically.
- outer_d defaults to pitch diameter plus a 3 mm rim if left at 0. Leave room for that rim wall — a ring pushed close to the pitch diameter comes out with paper-thin teeth.
- Internal teeth print without support (they point inward, into open space), but check the finished bore for tight spots — internal profiles shrink slightly more than external ones on most printers.
