This part is generated from a hand-written, print-tested OpenSCAD module — the same numbers always produce the same geometry. It is not an AI guess, and it does not cost a credit. Before a load-bearing or fit-critical print, check it against our design guide for wall thickness, overhangs and orientation.

Print notes for this part

  • The diagonal gusset is what carries the shelf load, not the corner joint — print it standing on the vertical arm so the gusset's layer lines run along its length, in compression, rather than across it.
  • Raise infill to 40-50% for anything meant to hold real weight; the default slicer infill (15-20%) is sized for dimensional parts, not load-bearing brackets.
  • Two brackets per shelf is rarely enough past about 40 cm of span in PLA — add a third at the midpoint, or move to PETG.
