This part is generated from a hand-written, print-tested OpenSCAD module — the same numbers always produce the same geometry. It is not an AI guess, and it does not cost a credit. Before a load-bearing or fit-critical print, check it against our design guide for wall thickness, overhangs and orientation.

Print notes for this part

  • Two gears only mesh if they share the same module — this generator's 'module' is that number. Matching tooth count does nothing on its own; matching module is what has to agree.
  • Print with the gear axis vertical (flat face down). Teeth cut into the top surface of a flat print come out far cleaner than teeth built by stacking layers along their height.
  • bore=0 gives a solid centre. Set it to your shaft diameter plus about 0.2-0.3 mm running clearance, or plan to ream the hole afterward — printed bores are consistently a touch undersized.
